ABOUT Me
My name is Cody Newman. I am a graduate from Full Sail Universities music production program.
Let me tell you a little bit about my musical experience and dreams. I started playing guitar at the ripe age of 8 and from there I fell in love with the concept of sound. Later in high school, I purchased my first acoustic guitar which creatively opened my eyes to more paths of musical composition as well as creative lyrical writing.
After high school, I continued writing lyrics and composing music, forming bands, networking with friends and practicing. Due to life's untimely circumstances, however, I joined the military which put a fairly solid halt on my compositions but not my writing.
After the military, I was fortunate enough to be able to start school for what I love most; sound, music, composition, writing, recording, music theory, and creating much more...
During my time in school, I realized I wanted to be more than the average struggling independent artist...
